ALTER THE COURSE CHALLENGE
Alter the Course was a global mental health challenge designed to encourage people to rethink their routines, based on the idea that small changes in direction can have a meaningful impact.
As a reward for completing the challenge, customers received a $75AUD discount code to use on the site for the latest collection.
I owned the strategy and rollout, building the challenge entirely within our existing tech stack instead of the traditional and extremely expensive Strava Challenges.
The Challenge included custom landing pages, challenge-specific email flows and triggers, Typeform flows, paid ad campaigns, and supporting creative assets for social media channels, wholesalers and ambassadors.
Being the first time we had run a campaign built like this with our own tech-stack, it successfully acquired new customers ahead of the BFCM period below our CPA benchmarks. We saw a large increase in code usage compared to our previous Strava Challenges with similar mechanics, resulting in an increased Conversion Rate and revenue for the latest collection launched during this time.
